My power cord shows orange at the connection point with the computer. Is this correct? My older model showed green most of the time.

Hello one-off,


It is expected behavior for your indicator light to be amber. This information can be found here: Charge your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro - Apple Support


After you connect the charger, the indicator light glows green if your battery is fully charged. If your battery is charging or charging is on hold, the indicator light glows amber.
