Carrier iPhone 53.0

I bought 2 iPhone 14 Pro Max from Spectrum and neither will connect to their network. Both phones say "No SIM restrictions", but the 'Carrier' shows iPhone 53.0 and both have carrier locks. I called Apple and they said the carrier locks are from Xfinity. We don't have, and never have had an Xfinity Mobile account so they won't help. It's been over 2 weeks so neither Apple nor Spectrum will let us return the phones.

Has anyone had a Carrier iPhone 52.0 or Carrier iPhone 53.0 lock on their phones and were able to unlock them without paying $200 for the 3rd party single-use software?
