Try removing the SIM card and then putting it back in the iPhone. If that does not work, then you can try another SIM from your carrier, however, there is a very good chance that your iPhone has sustained water/liquid damage. Liquid damage cannot be reversed. If you continue to have issues, then have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and a resolution.

Let the iPhone dry out normally. Do not use any hot blower or Rice packs.
Remove the SIM card. Check using another SIM. If working then get the SIM card changed.
Hi! Here's a solution that worked for me.
My issue
Every time any water touches my Iphone 14 pro, one of the following issues come up:
This also happens at random, but rarely.
Today I really got my iphone wet, it fell in the shower (and I think the combo of vibration from fall + water is what got to the SIM tray).
I removed and re-inserted the SIM multiple times, to no avail.
So then I tried removing the SIM tray and leaving it open for 5 minutes. I then put the SIM back in and it now seems to be working fine.
Maybe it just needed to dry.
Hope this helps someone in the future.

Extracting the Water...
Take it to a Retailer:
The only inexpensive way I can think of(an it will cost money) is to take it to a retailer, seeing if they have a device that gets the water out of a phone. Retailers have these.
Have your carrier activate the ESim.
So my iPhone 13 Pro Max entered water , but it didn’t stay for 2seconds . I took it out dried it up immediately; only for it to I dictate no sim ; but my sim was till in the phone , I had to try another sim it saying same thing . Please how do I fix this ?
