But an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus will never run iOS 13 or higher, no matter how many times you ask. An iPhone 6s or 6s Plus will never run iOS 16 or higher, no matter how many times you ask. If your phone does not offer any update, it's likely because you've reached the current end of the line for its hardware model.

If you want to run a newer version of iOS than your current iPhone is capable of running, your options are either to do without, or to purchase a replacement for the outdated iPhone.
