Hey there. If the phone is an iPhone 6 (and not an iPhone 6S) then it's not supported on iOS 14. The iPhone 6 supports up to iOS 12.

Read the thread you posted to. If you have an iPhone 6, you don't update to iOS 14, because you CAN'T update to iOS 14.

Think about it. This thread is about updating an iPhone 6 to iOS 14, which is NOT possible. If you can't update an iPhone 6 to iOS 14, then you CANNOT update one to iOS 15, or iOS 16 or iOS 17 and next year, you won't be update it to iOS 18.
