Car Play not woking on Alpine ilx w650 car stero

Hi There

I have recently upgraded my mobile from iPhone 11 pro to iPhone 14 pro. However, I am noticing car play function is not working with my car stereo - Alpine ilx w650 model

I don't see any action happening the moment I connect the cable. I have upgraded mobile software to latest available software and the current version is iOS 16.4.1

But the same car play function is working perfectly fine with iPhone 11 Pro. I also updated alpine ilx w650 firmware to latest available verions.

Can you please help, how this can be resolved. Is it any technical issue or any software setup issues.

Check your connection to your CarPlay stereo: If you have a wired connection, try connecting again with a different USB cable to a different USB port if you have one. If you have a wireless connection, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on on your iPhone under Settings > Bluetooth.

we tried connecting different cables and everything seems fine. we found the car play function is not functional with iphone 13 and above

Did you get your phone to work? (I know this is an old post)

I have an iPhone 13 and my apple Car Play works just fine. Is your Bluetooth on? Also go into the deep settings on the radio and make sure CarPlay is toggled ON.(Im sure it is because your old phone is working but just a check)

What other functions work on the Stereo with the iPhone 13, anything?
