I'm still using Picasa on my late 2013 iMac, still using Mojave because apple told me I will loose Picasa if I update further. Does anyone have any suggestions on good photo program that operates similar to Picasa?

Has anyone found a good photo app for my imac that operates similar to Picasa? I have thousands of photos and about 25 folders with those photos all in order since 2003...I don't know how to go forward...
