My child on Family Sharing is unable to download apps I have just set up my 6 year old as a family member, with new apple account. There are some apps, like Bbc iplayer, that are not available to download on her device for her. I’ve tried to look at the Content Privacy settings but nothing is working. Is it because of her age? I was able to download on my 9 year olds devise. If it’s her age, how can I change this? Any other advice welcomed. Child’s Account no longer downloads Apps Hi, I have followed a previous post the same as this that dried up in January 2023. I have my son setup under my family account and restrictions all set up for my approval and all device upto date with latest software. I was able to download apps on an old iPad and thought I’d be clever updating to latest iOS. Now when I try to download on his iPad a spinner just spins in the “get buttons” position after entering his password twice. I get no approval request like I used to and the App Store stays like this until it resets back to the “get” button after a long period of time. Please help 🙏🏽

Family Sharing, unable to download app I have family sharing set up for my kid. first I tried to download an app and it would not let me under the kids profile. Wouldn't even display the "get" button to try to ask for review to purchase it. So, then I went under my account and purchased so I could do a shared app to the kids account. when I go into the App Store to pull down the shared app I am told "due to restrictions set from this device, the app cannot be downloaded." What restriction is set?

If you are having issues sharing purchases with a child account in Family Sharing, first ensure they are following the most relevant section here on their device: How to download apps and content that your family members purchased

If this is how your child is downloading shared apps and content and this continues, test to see if this occurs over another network connection next. This will allow us to isolate whether a device or the network connection is responsible for this behavior.

If something else is occurring, please provide more information so we can assist further.
