Unable to pair iwatch with iPhone due to activation lock

I have been trying to pair iwatch, and it fails at step where it ask for Apple account credentials used earlier to activate the watch. Although the account credentials are working fine, I am getting a prompt saying Apple ID is disabled for security reason and to reset the password. Tried multiple attempts of resetting the password but it doesn’t work.

Hello jasbir148,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. With the inability to reset the Apple ID password, you'll need to go through the account recovery process. This is a method that will help you to successfully regain access to your Apple ID account and update the password. Here's an article with the proper steps on how to go through the account recovery process: How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password

Kind regards.
