Contacts iOS app and Google contacts issue
Hello.
I configured my iPhone (latest iOS) to access the contacts of my Google account and I'm puzzled by how Google contacts and the contacts iOS app work together.
Google contacts has a very nice feature that allows to "hide" selected contacts from the main contacts list into the "other contacts" list. Very useful to put aside old contacts without deleting them.
The iOS contacts app only shows entries from the main Google contacts list and nothing is loaded from the Google other contacts list.
All good so far.
However, after I added the Google contacts to the iOS contacts app, if from the Google contacts web page I move an entry from the main Google contacts list to the Google other contact list, then the entry DOES NOT disappear from the iOS app as expected.
Moreover, if I delete the entry from the iOS contacts app, then the entry disappears entirely from the Google contacts and is nowhere to be found in the main or other contacts lists.
How can I use the Google feature of hiding contacts (rather than deleting) while using the iOS contacts app as well as the Google contacts page?
Any suggestion appreciated.
