The native iOS/iPadOS Mail App doesn’t provide the means to sort mailbox messages from oldest to most recent.

Apple does invite submission of feature requests via its Product Feedback portal. Of you would like to see new functionality in a future iPadOS release, this would be the most appropriate channel through which to make such a request:
