Trackpad handwriting input keep disappearing on M2 mini pro running MACOS 13.3.1. Pointer disappeared, trackpad clicking stop, once out of the handwriting mood, everything back to normal.
When lockin as a different user, problem disappeared. What gives?

As this is not happening with a test user account, try booting into safe mode next and test again. Testing in safe mode will help to rule out some possible software issues, and it also runs a basic disk check. This link has the steps: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
Once you test in safe mode, click Apple menu () > Restart to get back to normal.
