Wallpaper missing random section
I updated my new iMac and not see random under wallpaper, where did it go? See screenshots.

I don't bother setting or changing log in wallpapers for a couple reasons.
I rarely ever restart or shutdown and when I do, the log in screen isn't there long enough for me to bother.
So it would be better answered by someone who does.
That's a different question. You should create new posts for other questions.
Frank, you need to select "Auto-Rotate" first.

In order to randomly change wallpapers, you have to select one of the sections that has "Auto-Rotate" on the left, as I showed in my screen shot.
