How can I fix the Green Screen on my iPhone 13 Pro Max?

Hello my iPhone 13 Pro Max suddenly turn into green screen when i replayed instagram DM. My iPhone still on but I can’t use my iPhone because the screen green. Do you know what happen? And how to fix it?

Try a forced restart.


• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.


Force restart iPhone - Apple Support (IN)


If that doesn't fix it -

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed.

I also have the same issue. Paid for a diagnostic at the Apple service center, no physical damage at all. They are still asking me to pay about 500 US dollars for screen replacement. My phone is 1 year and 1 month old. This issue is so common, I'm very surprised that they don't have the "service program" for this.

If the green screen is manufactured failure then apple should give compensation to those who are facing such problem.. (13 pro user)...its so much expensive to repair or to change display.. So Apple company, if your are viewing these replies then compensate to those user who are facing green screen problems and can't afford to repair.. Or make a fix in next update..

It’s really sad that this issue mostly affects 13 series the most, this happened to me last year December 24 2023, of course I didn’t do anything to the phone as I use phone with care and very neat.


I was browsing with my 13 pro max when my phone suddenly glitched yellow and later turned green.


I didn’t prepare for any of this and at that time I have no money in hand I had to wait for two weeks to get my phone done. It was really frustrating as I didn’t have another phone to browse with, I was bored and ****** as ****.


Again is so sad that we have to buy a phone of that amount and the phone couldn’t even last 2 years.


Apple this is very sad, I just don’t know why y’all put bug and stuff in updates and when we update, our screen goes colored 🤦🏽‍♂️ its not by force to buy a 14 PM or 15 PM because I feel good using my 13 PM. Apple please stop damaging our screen money is not easy here in Africa! I know you can do better Apple.!

It wasn't my fault on Green screen issue. I had loss of pay cause of this I do work on data related company and the second authentication will be on my personal phone, Data Wasn't backed up in the last week so some of the important documents got deleted and Suffering a lot on this issue though they have arranged for screen replacement we face so many issue I will I turn back to apple on the next phone is big question.....

I am facing the same issue…it’s been 2 years I bought this IPhone 13 Pro Max and just after 1 year when my warranty was over the first problem I faced was purple spots on rear camera while zooming to take pictures and now I am facing the green lines and green tint screen issue.Fixing this hardwares costs a lot and why should I waste soo much money for your manufacture fault??This is very unexpected from Apple and you should give full compensation for it!! You just lost my trust and you will lose many users like me for your faulty 12,13 & 14 series!!!

i also had the same issue i bought my iphone13promax last july 2022 then on july 2023 10days after the warranty period then im watching video then suddenly turn into green screen how can i make apple change the screen of my phone even its out of warranty already please help me🙏thanks thr phone is very expensive i hope apple will be responsible to address this issue thanks

Me also faced this kind of green line issue with my Iphone 13. My display shows only 2 green lines on top and remaining area become blank. My device is out of warranty but no physical damages. Apple rejected free of cost replacement and asked 27K INR for replacement. Its not worth to pay. This problems is due to apple software bug or hardware quality issue. Apple team told me as per Apple policy they cant give free of cost replacement for out of warranty products. I am disappointed with apple build quality and service after warranty. O submitted phone at I Care Kottayam, kerala

Worst support by apple on product bug which has nothing to do with user usage!! Lot of user of 13 series reporting issue of green screen suddenly without any physical damage and apple just ignores all of them based on warrenty!! Customer care just gives false hope and at end says we can’t help please pay for new screen!!

Apple should investigate and fix root cause of issue you can’t expect customers to pay for product defect
