my iphone 14 not scanning libre 2 sensor for diabetis

I have updated my phone with the new updates IOS version 16.4.1 and i am still having issues, is there a chip issue or an issue with NFC with the iphone 14 cause it was working in November and then just stopped, the sensor is working as i tried my husbands iphone 11 and it worked with that, this is very frustrating and can't get an answer why from freestyle libre so i am hoping that you can assist.

The Free Libre App is specifically designed to scan and manage the Freestyle Libre glucose sensor, to support living with diabetes. The glucose sensor is applied to the upper arm, each sensor lasts two weeks, and you take readings / get alarms using either the scanner device they provide, or a Smartphone app.

So it’s a different kind of thing to the iOS Health app, and to other health and fitness apps. I’m not surprised that it doesn’t show up on a search.

I have been using my iPhone SE (2020) with the Freestyle Libre 2 app since January 2023. However, when I updated to iOS 17, the Freestyle app stopped working and stopped reading my sensor. When I contacted Abbott they said that other uses with iOS 17 can use the app; they also suggest I go back to iOS 16. Obviously I am not going to go back to a previous iOS. I have been using a reader and even so, I have had problems and have had to change sensors 3 times in 2 days. I placed a new sensor today (10/12/2023) and again attempted to use my phone (after deleting and re-downloading app, checking all the settings and turning phone off for 3 minutes and back on). There is absolutely no communication between my phone and the sensor. I am very frustrated at this point because I do not want to carry my phone (necessary) and a reader (unnecessary) at all times. If anyone has a resolution to this situation, please share it. Thank you.

I have been using my iPhone SE (2023) with the Freestyle Libre 2 app since January 2023 current software 17.4.1 However it has recently stopped reading my Libre app sensor. When I contacted the manufacturer Abbott they suggested I change the sensor. This made no difference. I have tried again after deleting and re-downloading app, checking all the settings and turning phone off for 3 minutes and back on. There is absolutely no communication between my phone and the sensor. I have tried installing it on my wife’s phone and it works perfectly. I have deleted it from her phone and reinstalled it on my own but again no success. If anyone has a resolution to this situation, perhaps you could let me know. Thanks

I was told that my iPhone was working perfectly just purchased as my old iPhone was struggling with connectivity. I tried taking it back as I only upgraded for to use with my libre. I have two daughters who are diabetic also one has an iPhone ( problems) and the other an android (no problem) in my opinion it is not the sensor that is at fault there is something wrong with the Bluetooth within the phone I have another medical device that struggles to connect although eventually works. Wish someone would fix this issue. I hardly use my phone now😡😡😡😡😡
