Hi we have family sharing on and have no issues with all other APPS however minecraft not family sharing and my daughter wanting me to pay $10.99 again so she can play? I have checked all settings and believe it is the only app not sharing. Can anyone shed any light on this?? Thank you

We checked the app on the App Store and noted there isn’t any “Family Sharing” option provided for the Minecraft app. If you compare Minecraft with Timepage and scroll down to “Supports” near the bottom, Timepage shows it support Family Sharing, but Minecraft does not.

However, Minecraft offers it’s own type of sharing:
Minecraft now comes with the option to buy Minecraft Realms. Realms is a monthly subscription service that lets you create your own always-online Minecraft world.
There are currently two subscription options to choose from depending on how many people you want to invite to play in your realm simultaneously. A realm for you and 2 friends costs 3.99 USD/month (or local equivalent) and a realm for you and 10 friends cost 7.99 USD/month (or local equivalent).
