Subtitle Issues on Apple TV Plus programming
Why can’t your videos playback with English subtitles during foreign language parts and no subtitles during English language parts?
It’s either no subtitles or English subtitles all the time even during English language parts of the video playback. It makes trying to watch your content tedious, and tiresome.
Just to get this out of the way my settings are correct. I have English set as my native language and subtitles set to Auto (which it literally says on the settings that, that setting is used to “show subtitles whenever you play titles in a different language than the language on this Apple TV”)
No other platform has this issue. This is just an Apple TV Plus programming issue. Apple should be giving refunds for its services or at least giving us free Apple TV Plus until they can figure this issue out. You wouldn’t pay for an appliance if it was broken would you (that’s a rhetorical question)?
What happened to Apple because it feels like they just stopped caring not only about their products and services but their consumers as well. It’s like the 90’s all over again. I’m constantly having to resolve issues with Apple products on my own because their service is nonexistent. It’s just so disappointing.
