I’ve tried resetting my iPad, waiting for it to die, trying to press the home button, trying to scroll, and trying to press on a different app quickly before it opens to the same app, but every single time it goes to the same “Ray-Ban Stories” app and it won’t let me out unless I turn the iPad off completely, which then the iPad will turn itself on and go straight into the app, this even happens when I reset the iPad.
Have you tried deleting the offending App from your iPad?

After deleting the App, perform a forced-restart:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
