Why is my guided access not working? It is turned on

I THINK I FIGURED IT OUT.
So I was getting fussy with this not working. Turns out I was over thinking it. I would try to activate it while still in “settings”. However, it doesn’t work like that. You have to have a standalone app open prior to activation. So try it again but close “settings” (after toggling “guided access” and “accessibility shortcut” on) and open another app. Hope this helps at least one person
If customer experience is priority, then how about Apple fixes the issue so that we don’t need to do gymnastics with restarting the phone etc?
Yes, this is what I do aswell. The issue however just keeps returning…
My iPad is not responding to touch or clicks. With initial screen of entering password, I cannot get any letters on ‘password’ slot by touching the screen, please help.
Even though I have done everything I could, even following some of the steps given to me the guided access is still not working. Triple click, and everything else hasn’t worked for almost a week now when I found out it hasn’t been working. It’s stressing me out a bit since I want to draw things that I need to sketch.
I have the same problem. First I couldn’t activate guided access on one of my IPhones so I just used the other. Now this one also stopped working. I click the off button 3 times but nothing happens. The guided access is turned on in settings…
Fun fact I had the same problem turns out you need to select under accessibility shortcuts more then just one so guided access for example guided access Color filters then triple click and boom it worked
