Mass texts

How do I send a mass text on my Mac and not show everyone's phone info?

Also, when someone replies, can others see the reply?

Thank you!

Really hoping I am not helping a spammer... 🤞

Messages group chat texts will show everyone's phone numbers and everyone sees the replies.

What you are looking for is known as a blast SMS/MMS test message solution. Where software sends the text to many people individually. You'll need different software to accomplish that as Messages cannot do it. It's typically server based or cloud hosted and sold as a service (SaaS). Be sure you respect the STOP relies and cease communications when received.

SPAM is unsolicited marketing email or text messages. It is illegal in many countries to SPAM via SMS/MMS text messaging. Be sure to consult an attorney if you intend to do this at a mass scale. There are rules that must be observed.

Not all messaging of this nature is considered SPAM. Many companies use it to communicate with customers. They typically make it clear the user is opt-ing into the service and there is always a reminder they can reply with STOP and the bot will stop messaging them. It's used for appointment reminders, available pick-up is ready, acknowledgement of a transaction, sending a one-time authentication code, etc. Integrating the ability for a reply to reach the appropriate person and allow them to reply is a feature offered by many of these software tools.
