Keywords do not get imported when importing another Photos library

If you create a new Photos library with some photos, adjustments, and keywords, then when you import this new library back into your default Photos library, keywords will not be transferred. Adjustments, locations, favorites all seem fine.

Steps to reproduce

1 create a new Photos library by holding Option while launching Photos

2 import some photos into this new library

3 add some adjustments, locations to these new photos

4 create some new keywords and add them to these new photos

5 quit Photos, relaunch with your default library by holding option and selecting the default

6 use File > Import... and select the new library created in step 1

7 select all files and click Import

8 after the input, verify the adjustments and favorites and keywords on the imported photos

Expected Results

I expect all modifications to the photos to be imported: adjustments added, locations added, keywords added.

Actual Results

Adjustments and locations have been imported correctly, but no keywords were imported.

It is a documented limitation in Photos for Mac, but very disappointing, see this link: Import photos from another library in Photos on Mac - Apple Support

There is a footnote : "* Keywords are not imported"

You may want to send feedback to Apple with a feature request - here is a feedback form: Feedback - Photos - Apple
