Soap opera effect ONLY with Apple TV+

Hello,

I see this has been discussed a few times.

This only does it with the built in Apple TV app, no other app does it.

I have 2 new Samsung TV's with the builtin App Apple TV.

Both TV's have the Soap Box effect.

Tried reset on both, still there.

Both TV's have this effect turned off in the main menu.

I have also turned off in Accessibilities in the apple TV app, the motion to off.

Still no luck.

Hoping someone has found a fix.

I believe the Apple TV needs to updated, to fix this fault.

You likely need to check your TV controls for motion effects. These may be set separately for different inputs. Eg. on my TV I can independently control such settings for each HDMI input if a device is connected.

Otherwise, you may need to try "Reset the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ app" section's steps here: Get the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app on your smart TV, streaming device, or game console

Hello,

That's the problem, I have it turned off for all sources on the TV.

But the Apple TV is an App, not connected via a source, eg HDMI.

So not sure why, I can't control it.

Can't delete the app, as it's part of the apps that come with the TV.

Tried Reseting the App, but it's still there.

Hello,

I am experiencing exactly the same problem. I have a Samsung the Frame 2023. I tried to reset, reinstall, apply change to motion off, and limit to SD and still I get the terrible soap opera effect, which makes all the great shows totally unwatchable for me.

Please advise how this can actually be fixed. Cause resetting does not work.
