Hi, I accidentally plugged my laptop charger into my MacBook both ends (full circuit) and now my laptop won’t start up. I’ve tried charging it and restarting it and the screen is just black.
Is there anything I can do or have I killed it?

As this looks like an Intel MacBook, we'd recommend trying a SMC reset as outlined below:
"Follow these steps on older computers that have neither Apple silicon nor the Apple T2 Security Chip.
Laptop computer
on the left side of your keyboard
on the left side of your keyboard
on the left side of your keyboard
If you need help, contact Apple Support. "
Should the issue persist, we'd advise contacting Apple Support as there may be a hardware issue.
