Uninstalling app completely

Hi, One of my third party apps is not working as it should. The developer is advising me to reinstall. The problem is I cannot uninstall it at all.

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Make sure you are deleting it vs. just offloading it.

If the advice above does not help, ask the developer how to delete the app.

I tap delete. The icon disappear. So far so good. Then when I look in the App Store to download again there is not button get but something like steam icon. When I press that a button open appears. That means it has never been uninstalled, just hidden.
