Having bluetooth problems whenever using my stereo HomePod Mini's on Apple TV?

So I came across this really strange and increasing frustrating issue just a few days ago where if my Apple TV is connected to my stereo HomePod mini pair for sound output, any bluetooth devices connected to the Apple TV just simply do not work. At first I noticed this with any Apple TV remote I connect, it keeps getting disconnected and connected every few secs and I just cannot use the remote to control the Apple TV (I have charged and paired the remote several times). Then this morning I noticed the same issue when I tried to connect my Apple Watch for use with Fitness+, it just won't connect. As soon as I disconnected the HomePod stereo pair, the Apple Watch connected first time and the Apple TV remote worked as normal!

Please tell me I'm not the only one going through this. It's been so frustrating that I've reset my Apple TV to factory settings, reset and restarted both HomePod Mini's and used a brand new remote in the hope that it would work but no. I am almost 100% certain it's bluetooth connectivity issues as I am currently using the Remote app on my iPhone to control the Apple TV, which correct me if I'm wrong, but uses wifi instead of bluetooth to control the TV.

I am currently running all latest OS's, tvOS 16.4.1, iOS 16.4.1 and watchOS 9.4 as well as the latest HomePod mini software. Any help would really be appreciated as this is been driving me crazy!

Weird. All I can think of is that you were experiencing some radio interference in the 2.4Ghz band. Perhaps the added local WiFi traffic between your ATV4K and HomePods put it over the edge? Are you in a busy WiFi area with heighbors, etc? Time of day might make a difference?

If it comes back, you might try forcing your WiFi router to speak 5Ghz to the HomePods to avoid crowding out Bluetooth traffic.

Apple Watch bluetooth issues:

I have a hearing aid that I use daily. I listen to music via a bluetooth streaming device directly into my hearing aid sound processor. I have connected (2) Apple HomePod speakers that will exhibit the nasty "crackle" and static intermittently. Resetting the HomePods + Apple TV would work for a some time but the problem would reappear. I turned OFF my Apple Watch and the problem has gone away. This is an OLD problem Apple. Couldn't use the Mac to update any iOS device until Apple Watch bluetooth was turned off and Mac bluetooth was cycled on/off. Right now I can't use my Apple Watch while I listen to music using the Apple HomePod speakers. Maybe Apple Watch OS 11 will fix this?
