What is the proper response when one sees the command "Confirm with assistive touch?" Double clicking the side button does not make the payment go through. ( I believe it did so in the past). It doe not seem to respond to my face or fingerprint. I am at a loss.
You may have enabled confirm with Assistive Touch instead of the Side button. Please see the pic below which is self-explanatory

I have this same issue every time I try to buy something from the App Store. It’s already enabled too. So I turn it off and re-enable it and.. still… nothing. Apple ****** me off sometimes.

I have assisted touch turned off. When I try to purchase with double tap it tells me my assisted touch is off.
