The App Store says I need to update an app, but it is not updating

Good Evening, I downloaded an app from the AppStore a while ago, however it says I need to update but it is not updating. However note I did select automatically updates in my settings. Another thing in my setting which lists the apps on my IPad, I am not seeing this app listed. I removed and reinstalled, but still not seeing it.

I tried contacting the support team for that app to no avail.


Has anyone come across this situation before?

Have you ever used a different AppleID on that device? IF it was downloaded with another ID, you will need to sign into that ID to update it. Easier might just be to delete it and download it with your current ID.
