I did not make that purchase.

Who did? That is what needs to be determined and what actions should be taken.

For an in-app purchase managed by Apple, it requires a person to double click the side button, followed by verification with TouchID/FaceID or Passcode. That is not something that can be done by accident and if not done by you, then your phone has been compromised and you need to immediately change your Passcode, Password, and any financial accounts you have in your Wallet. This cannot be done remotely, so it would mean someone had physical access to your device and knew your Passcode. If you give someone else your Passcode, you have authorized them to make purchases.

With that information, what have you gathered when you review your Purchase History to identify what the charge is for:

If you do not see the charge in your Purchase History, then it is not being managed by Apple and we would need to know the exact description of the charge you see. Any charge from a subscription/free trial made on a website will directly charge your payment method and it is not managed by Apple. To cancel those or request a refund, you would need to contact that website where the charge initiated.

  • Have you reviewed your Purchase History?

  • Was this just a message or did you confirm that the amount has been deducted from your bank account?
  • What is the exact description of the charge?
  • Are you the Organizer of a Family Sharing plan where another family member could make a purchase?

There’s some charges on my account I don’t no about I did do cloud for me and my daughter and fortnight and there is one other your billing to eat it supposed to to be the first off the month but your doing it the last week off the month but there’s 6 transactions I’d like to see what they are for

What does it show for the app/service for the transactions in your Purchase History. It may show a game in your Purchase History, but you will not see what item in that game was purchased, to do that you would have to view your transactions in that game or contact the Developer of the app. Apple has no idea what you would have purchased.

Remember that in-app purchases require double clicking the side button with the amount showing on the screen, followed by verification with FaceID or Passcode, so it is not something that can be done by accident.

If your daughter is using her own device and you are using Family Sharing, you can turn on the Ask to Buy option to control the purchases your daughter makes

Not all purchases are even managed by Apple, so we would need to know the exact description of the charge to help with resolving any issue. For example, FortNite is not an app you would see in the Apple App Store, but in the EU they are allowed to have their own App Store and you would need to turn to them for any issues as Apple has no control over those charges. That is a risk you would take for a third party App Store.

Those are the questions that need answered to determine how the charge could have occurred. On your device, it would require double clicking the side button with the amount showing on the screen, followed by verification with TouchID/FaceID or Passcode. If you signed up for a free trial, then those must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial period ends. If you are the Organizer of a Family Plan using Purchase Sharing, then you have authorized member to make purchases using your payment information.

Without knowing how the charge occurred or at least what is was for, you may have much more serious problems with your banking information being compromised or your Apple Account needs to have the Password changed and Passcode on your device.

How do I only let certain things go thru my card
  • For subscriptions, you would need to cancel them to prevent recurring charges.
  • Use Ask to Buy to monitor a child's purchase when using Purchase Sharing.
  • If you give someone authorization to use your payment method, you cannot stop a charge after the fact, you must prevent it from happening in the first place.

I have a $42.39 deducted from my checking account that’s not authorized. Please credit it back to my account.

Please read the information that has been provided. Any charge on your device done by Apple is by double clicking the side button with the amount showing on the screen, followed by authorization with FaceID/TouchID or Passcode. That cannot be done by accident or without you providing the information to do it. If you signed up for a Free Trial, you will see the trial period on that screen along with the subscription price if not cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.

  • What have you determined the charge is for.
  • If you are the Organizer of a Family Plan that uses Purchase Sharing, then you have authorized members to make purchases to your Payment Method, and those purchases may appear under their Apple ID.
  • If you do not know anything about the charge, it may mean your checking account has been compromised, which would require contacting your bank.
  • If you think your Apple Account has been compromised, that will require changing your Password.

Without any further information, it is not possible to determine the best course of action for you.
