Flashlight Burn - anyone else have this problem?

My flashlight turned on while wearing jeans. I didn’t realize till I had an irritating feeling on my thigh. I made nothing of it till I realized I was burned. Mind you it’s a minor burn but after reading other people’s predicaments, you realize Apple should do something about it.

Hello,

Yeah, putting the phone in a tight space can accidentally activate a button. In the future, try inserting the phone with the top side down so that the raise-to-wake feature is not activated.

Good luck.

In addition to the advice MrBill3 provided, since you are putting your phone in your pocket, which is honestly not the best place to avoid unintentional touches on the phone, turn off Tap to Wake altogether on your iPhone.

Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Turn off Tap or Swipe to Wake

This should solve your accidental turning on the flahslight.
