I got a rash from the bottom surface of the watch. Can I place one of those ultra thin film protectors on that surface or will that affect its ability to work?

Thank you, but I didn't see an answer in the link you provided. From what I could tell, it merely verified that the watch contains nickel, but my rash already told me that.

Many of the Apple Watch’s features require contact with the user’s skin, especially health related features. So yes, using a protective film will indeed affect the watch’s ability to work.
