Calendar Complication stuck at "No more events today" (REOPEN)

This problem has a long history; search for the subject of this but without the “(REORDER)”

Here is a new, simpler workaround:

Assume the sticking complication is CALENDAR, displayed in the MIDDLE spot, displaying “Your Schedule”

Steps:

  • switch the displayed format from Your Schedule to “Today’s Date” (the only other choice)
  • Check to confirm the new setting
  • Switch back to “Your Schedule”

This workaround only lasts a few days, then it gets stuck again. But at least you're very good at fixing it now.

It's now almost March of 2024 -- I'm on iOS 17.3.1 and WatchOS 10.3.1.

The problem has not only NOT gone away, I think my problems STARTED with WatchOS 10.x/iOS 17.x

Using ONLY Apple/iCloud calendars.

Same issue here. Had it with watchOS 9 and now with 10 too! And it’s not like events are not synced, if I tap the complication I end up seeing the events I expected. I do have multiple calendars and I notice this happens only with calendars that are not my primary one. Very strange and disappointing since knowing what meeting I have next is one of my most used features on the Apple Watch. I’m on an ultra btw. Never had this issue in my series 4

I found a fix but it’s a pain. I deleted all email accounts from my iPhone. Then I completely wiped all of the data from my Apple Watch. I then added back my email accounts to my iPhone. Finally I re-paired my watch to the phone as a new watch. You will need to set up all of your watch faces and complications again. It should work. It did for me.

So... here's what has worked for me... so far, anyway. In the Watch setting on my iPhone, in 'Calendar', under 'Calendars', I unchecked Mirror my iPhone, and selected 'Custom'. I deselected one calendar I like to see on my phone and computer, though I don't think I needed to, and made sure the two calendars I absolutely need on my watch were selected. So, I have my event schedule appearing in the watch face again. I use the Modular face, by the way....

Calendar complication is not showing o365 calendar events. Watch is running 10.2. I have no idea why, but the complication will show events from one of the calendars I subscribe to (a college basketball team’s game schedule) but nothing else - most importantly, it does not show my primary calendar events (o365) in the complication (displaying “No Events Today” despite having a packed schedule). If I select the complication itself on the watch, the underlying events are visible on the watch’s calendar. I tried to switch to the Outlook calendar complication and it didn’t work either, telling me incorrectly that I’m “All Done For Today”. I have tried several of the suggestions from others, but nothing has worked. I relied on this complication more than I realized.
