How to turn off the 'Open in' popup in safari from 16.4.1 update.

I have my entire phone themed, and each each app icon on it is actually just a bookmarked link. Since I updated to the 16.4.1 update, any of the non default apps will open the link in Safari then hit the 'Open in Messenger' (for example) pop up. I need to hit open before it continues. It's been driving me batty for the last day as now there's an extra step when I want to open up my apps. Can I turn this off for specific apps or just all of them?
