New sim & provided on iPhone

I’m going to go to a new service provider in May they have sent me my sim out I’ve given them my pac number, they say my mobile number will stay the same will it? I’m just feeling a little bit nervous because I don’t want to loose my phone numbers or anything on my iPhone can anyone advise me please
