Macbook battery dies without warning?

I have a Macbook m1 2021. I have had it for about a year and a half, it is at 50% battery health. When it reaches 20-35% battery it dies, and it reaches it from full in about 1-3 hours. I won't lie, even when the battery was good, I always used a full cycle or so per day. I'm just worried that I may have a virus now. I did use my mac pretty heavily for about that one year, but so did my brother and my friend and they have like 80-95% battery health. Anyways if anyone could shed some light on this issue it would be great.

Edit: also I'm just mostly concerned about the fact that it dies so suddenly. When it dies first it goes to the lock screen and then dies, and I'm pretty sure it didn't always used to do that.
