Bluetooth Mouse connection on laptop

The message says the connection is rejected. I first saw mouse was discovered and not connected, and turned bluetooth off then on. The next message said connection rejected. What are the possibilities?

Dell bluetooth mouse not connecting I have used my dell bluetooth mouse for weeks no issue but now when I had to reconnect it to my macbook air it will see it on the bluetooth and allow me to click connect but then the loading wheel just continues non stop and it won't connect/work.. any ideas? ( I have replaced the battery in the mouse and turned the laptop off and on)
