Without knowing exactly which Mac you have it will be difficult to assist.

Please tell us which Mac, model and year you’re having trouble with, and what macOS version you’re running. Find that info by clicking the Apple menu () at the top-left of your screen and then select About This Mac.

(Note- for privacy and security please don’t post your serial number.)

Mac OS X 10.6.3 Snow Leopard is extremely old and outdated. In any case it will be difficult at best to upgrade and just about impossible to bring that Mac up to the security standards of the current internet.

The newest Mac that shipped with 10.6.3 was released in 2010 and can only be upgraded to 10.13.6 High Sierra.

Your post mentions Ventura (macOS 13) but that is out of the question for this machine.

My best advice to you will be to recycle that obsolete Mac and buy something newer; no older than 5-6 years and running nothing older than 10.15 Catalina.
