If your iMac's hardware model year is "Late 2009" through "Late 2011", High Sierra is the end of the line. You'll need a "Late 2012" or better iMac to update past High Sierra.

Nope, it's gone as far as it can. IF you need to run later versions of Mac OS, then it is time to buy a newer machine. In case you are thinking of asking, no the hardware on a 2011 cannot be upgraded to run later versions of Mac OS.
