Audio input not appearing in stereo out

I have my guitar plugged into input 1 of my Scarlett 2i2 audio interface and I have an audio track in Logic corresponding to that input. That audio track is routed to stereo out. When not recording, if I play the guitar, the level meter on the track channel responds but the level meter on stereo out does not, and I don't hear anything. I have input monitoring enabled. I also have a couple of insert effects on the channel (tuner and amp) and they don't respond either. If I record on that track and then play the recording back, I hear the guitar and it is routed through the tuner and amp as expected. I haven't been able to figure out what to do so I can hear the guitar when not recording. I've looked around a bit trying to figure this out and I saw a suggestion to reset preferences, which I tried, but it didn't fix the problem. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?
