Be aware that for your mother to be able to use her iPad effectively, she will require her own AppleID - linked to her own email address. Every user of Apple devices should have their own AppleID; sharing an AppleID account is fraught with risk and complications, not least the possibility of the shared account being inadvertently locked-out through error or mis-operation by the inexperienced.
