iCloud upgrade

I am trying to upgrade my iCloud storage plan but when I enter payment method it says in red that the card expiration date cannot be in the past however it’s a 2025 expiration on my card and that I need to complete entire form (which I have done). Any suggestions?

Have you tried again to ensure the year was correctly entered?


You can see here for the correct steps to update your payment:


"Update your payment method on your iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Payment & Shipping. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
  4. Tap Add Payment Method, enter the new payment method, then tap Done.
  5. Tap Edit.
  6. Tap the red delete button next to the old payment method, then tap Delete.

Try restarting your device and then testing again if the same thing happens. Try adding a different card to help isolate the source of the issue.
