Apple Watch changed goal, lack of progress

Hi there.

I have noticed today that my Apple Watch has a different goal than I usually have and that my “weekly progress” is not showing my correct information. For example, my goal is usually 420 cal and it’s now at 300. I’ve closed my rings each day this week and when I click “weekly summary” it shows that I didn’t meet my move goal.

Earlier this week I got random “badges”/notifications that I passed my exercise history by exercising for one minute and that I beat my previous calories burned by burning only a few calories.

Weird right? I’ve tried restarting and hard resetting… it’s almost like it’s paired with someone else’s or something?! Up until yesterday it has the right calorie goal etc.

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
