macbook activation lock active after an update to another apple account

After a simple update, my mac is showing its linked another ID despite it being linked to my icloud devices.

I can still view and seethe location on my find my app on my iPhone

My macbook pro which is linked to my appleid and find my account is locked by activation lock. Hello there, i purchased a macbook pro 2020 before 2 years, on year 2021. I purchased it from a local electronics dealer in the region where there is no apple support. At that time I attached my appleid to the device and i also activated find my for the device. I can still see the device on my appleid device list and also i can see it in find my devices list. The problem is before a week i found an update notification in the setting and i go for it. Immediately it shows activation lock. I tried to activate and login using my device password but it shows password error and password unacceptable due to multiple error message. I am sure the password is correct. Then I tried to use appleid and the big problem showed up. It shows b*****@yahoo.fr which is totally new for me. I imagine it is previous owners email id. I don't know the original owner and the local dealer also can't trace him/her. Even I can't see the full email address to communicate. I tried to fill apple support how ever it requires proof of ownership which shows only purchase only from supported region. I have a receipt for my purchase from my local electronics dealer but it is not helping. My questions is 1. Can a device linked to multiple appleid and find my account at the same time? 2. Considering my condition what is the solution? Thank you in advance.

I'm facing an issue with one of our office devices and seeking some advice or guidance from the community. Background: We manage our office devices through an Apple Business Account. Recently, we needed to transfer a specific device from one employee to another. The previous employee left the organization, and their personal iCloud account had previously been added to the device. Before handing it over to the new user, we removed the previous iCloud account and replaced it with our company's official Apple ID. The Problem: After the MDM profile removal, the device automatically rebooted and ended up on the recovery screen. It's now asking for an activation lock. However, here's the tricky part - it's not asking for the Apple ID we last used (our official Apple ID). Instead, it's asking for the iCloud account and password of the previous employee who was using it. Device Details: The device in question is an Apple Silicon device. MacOS ventura was installed Now how can I reinstall or reset this Mac? Thanks in advance

Hey there kolawole148,

We'd be happy to look into this with you. From your post, it sounds like after updating your Mac you're seeing an unknown Apple ID showing, despite being able to see the Mac on Find My under your own Apple ID.

In this case, we'd recommend reaching out to Apple directly for assistance using: Get Support

They have access to the tools you need to take a deeper look.
