What if your old phone breaks completely and you can’t access it to verify your trying to sign in on a new iPhone?

I broke my old iPhone 8 Plus and I got a new iPhone tried signing into my Apple ID and I can’t because I have to enter a code that’s sent to the broken phone. So I can’t verify that it’s me

Hi sawyer136,

We'll be glad to help you out with signing into your Apple ID. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you will need a second authentication method to log in to your Apple ID. If you do not have any other devices set up and can't get a code, you may need to start the account recovery process.

As mentioned in Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication - Apple Support

"If you still can't sign in

If you can’t sign in, reset your password, or receive verification codes, you can request account recovery to regain access to your account. Account recovery might take a few days or longer, depending on the specific account information you can provide to verify your identity."

Cheers.
