sometimes calls come in on my watch but not phone
Why do I occasionally receive calls on my Apple Watch but they are not coming through on my iPhone?

We want to help you get the calls where you expect and not only on your Apple Watch.
To be sure, is this only happening when your iPhone is not nearby?
See here as this might be expected if so:
"When your iPhone is off or out of range, your Apple Watch can use a Wi-Fi network to send and receive data. Your watch can also connect to a cellular network if it's a cellular model. And if you've set up an Apple Watch for a family member, they can use a mobile data or Wi-Fi connection with their watch."

Or do you only get calls only the Apple Watch even when the iPhone is nearby? What if the Apple Watch is powered off, do you get calls on the iPhone then?
