When creating a slideshow, how do you change the duration of all of the pictures without changing the duration of the transitions

Select the stills in the timeline index and use Control-D to set the duration.
One way would be to open the Timeline/Project Index, then select "Clips" at the top of the list and the "Video" tab at the bottom. Then, in the list choose the clips for which you'd like to change duration. Then, type control-D and enter in the new duration. This should change all of the clip durations to the new value.
