Fonts are not installed suddenly.

I was reading a text from my son and when I tried to respond it says I have no fonts installed. How do I get my fonts back installed?

Font Installation Problem I'm having trouble installing fonts in Font Book. When I drag the font (in this case Bembo) into the My Fonts window, it tells me it's already installed, but Bembo doesn't appear either in My Fonts or All Fonts. This is happening with multiple fonts. I'm stumped. Thanks for any suggestions.

I want to see the screenshot of the Message app where you say you could not reply. How did you wind up in Settings > General > Fonts after working in the Message app?
