I’m getting weirdo emails, how do they get your email address?

Spam messages, can come about from many different ways. There is no simple answer to how you get them. Some of these ways include, from vendors that you make purchases from. Others are generated by spam bots. Typically, these acquire your email address in one fashion or another and add them to spam lists. In turn, these lists can be sold to spammers to send these emails.

A Profile is Made and Sold:

Once obtained, some companies pay vendors to gather this info create a profile. Proving this info is likely something you would have agreed to upon open an account somewhere, or providing your eMail address wherever. In the U.S.A.
