I experienced a coverage drop a few times this week and what could be causing it?

What I meant by coverage drop is that the phone would suddenly show no service on the top and I can’t find anything useful that’ll fix this issue, below I’ve attached a screenshot of the bug! Please let me know asap. And btw it does this randomly and sometimes it works perfectly without a drop of a single bar.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 15

Hey Msazeen,

We’d be happy to help out. Coverage drops are typically a result of environmental factors and your wireless carriers coverage. It doesn’t sound like there is an issue with your iPhone causing this behavior, as you’d either have service, or not if there was a hardware failure causing this to occur.

We’d suggest working with your carrier if you’re experiencing spotty coverage in your area.

If for any reason you’re noticing No Service though, we’d suggest working through the steps here: If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Take care!
