Forgot Apple ID password and apple isnt helping at all

I don’t remember my Apple ID and I’m trying to reset it so I can download something and it asks for my phone number and I clicked the button for it to send me a verification code and nothing got sent I clicked call me instead and still nothing and it now says too many codes sent and I put on the apple website for me to reset my password and I went to the category for if I forgot my Apple ID and it asked for my Apple ID I DONT KNOW MY APPLE ID THATS WHY I NEED TO CHANGE IT and I have updated my phone every time there is a new update so I don’t want anyone telling me it’s because of the version of my phone

If you know neither your Apple ID, nor your password, you may have to call Apple and see if they can help you.
