Shortcut to Rename Files Selected in Finder Using QuickActions

I have a shortcut that renames a file to the Created date, and is accessible to QuickActions in Finder. It works very well.

The two things I need help with:

  • This only works on one file at a time. How can I make it work for all selected files?
  • Can this be modified so that it will Prepend to the file name, and not erase the current file name.

I wasn't sure how best to share the shortcut, so I used an iCloud Link below.

I also attached a screenshot.

I checked Google and downloaded shortcuts that others have made. I still have the same problem as listed in my post. I have tried a number of options, but posted because there must be something I am missing. Hoping that someone that has experience actually using Shortcuts, and not just Google, may help.

I'd prefer to use Shortcuts rather than Automator, but may give it a go to see if it works better.
